Re: First level, first 500K ever - KK in the BB
[ QUOTE ]
I'd call and evaluate flop... He's IP and can make it a difficult read even if an A doesn't hit the flop. He could be raising w/AK, JJ or QQ which your a pretty big fav... [/ QUOTE ] Umm if you haven't noticed, there isn't any chance for an evalation as if we call we would be AI. |

Re: First level, first 500K ever - KK in the BB
Well I get what he's saying, just calling the inital pf raise from the BB instead of repopping it. That thought did cross my mind, but I've been listening to interviews lately with Imper1um and Lil Holdem about using aggression to know where your at in every hand you play.
To me I'd rather just narrow the range right here and probably just play heads up out of position than against 3 players. But you know if I do that, and the flop comes 8 9 T with a flush draw or something I can probably dump it and move on without worrying about it. |

Re: First level, first 500K ever - KK in the BB
lol what is there to evaluate.
You will still go broke when you flop an overpair and he has AA, and sometimes you will incorrectly fold on a seemingly bad flop (e.g. A high he cbets with QQ). |

Re: First level, first 500K ever - KK in the BB
You're absolutely right. Apologies for not reading the FAQ.
I'm going to kill it now because it's redundant on all boards I've posted on. I did instacall. He did have Aces. They did hold up. B/C of the $16 entry fee, I was able to clear a $7.50 bonus as soon as I was knocked out. So it ended up being a freeroll after all. |

Re: First level, first 500K ever - KK in the BB
Flat calling the initial raise 3-way is bad.
Looking again at the action, a good player could push AK/QQ and maybe weaker, so easy call. |
