a few things i hate about movies

Opening night of Dawn of the Dead a few years ago. I was very drunk but don't remember how much I drank. We showed up to the movie late and we were on the very front row. The place was completely full. I was talkative and being a [censored]. I don't remember much but I asked the people to my left if they cared if I smoked so I lit one up on the front row. Some guy yelled at me to put it out and I don't remember if I did or not.

Really pissed my friends off and I'm sure others. No idea how I didn't get arrested. I passed out near the beginning of the movie and don't remember anything from that point on. Woke up in my bed the next morning. Needless to say it was pretty embarrassing and it's the only time I've ever really talked during a movie or anything. I'm very good at theaters besides this isolated incidence.

They would hear the joke, repeat it out loud. Then they pause for a second, letting their stupidity course through their veins until they "get it" and all laugh together, 5 seconds later.

i think also some ppl have been fans for so long or have such fond memories of good seasons that they really really want to like it so they're laughing to convince themselves that it's as funny as they hoped it would be. at least that's the impression i got when i went to see it.

Man taking up tickets tells everyone to turn off their phones. A sign in the lobby AND upon entering each theatre says turn off cell phones. A promotional advertisement tells you to turn off cell phones. Another advertisement tells you not to "ruin the movie by providing your own soundtrack". So, you should probably...
