another thing that pisses me off is when they have the bit before the movie starts that encourages people not to download movies. the person doing the spot is a stage gripe pleading w/ people not to download because he has a family and downloaders are cutting into his wages.

no, they dont get tom cruise or arnold arnold schwarzenegger with their bloated movie salaries of $25 million a picture do those spots. they get some entry level guy to do it and then blame high movie prices on the public rather than the actors they didnt show us. sick.

Basically anyone talking at all, from when the first preview starts until the credits roll. I look back on what I was like as a 13 year old and think how annoying I must have been at the movies.

I also don't really like going to the movies with other people even though I do basically 100% of the time. We're not talking in the theater and afterward they're either going to share my opinion of the movie or just be annoying.

Im suprised that nobody mentions big people. If some huge guy sits in front of you when the entire theater is packed and you have to look around him. So annoying.

Im pretty tall myself too, and I find it annoying that there is so little legspace

I also know a fair few people who work at a cinema whilst they are at uni and the stories of cleaning up semen and [censored] is pretty disgusting. People in general i hate.

This thread makes me miss living down the street from the Kennedy School theater in Portland. No previews, super cheap tickets, beer and food served, no kids allowed, and the seating consists of couches and comfy chairs with coffee tables and end tables. Never had a bad experience.

I saw Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon while sitting behind a woman and two guys.

She read the subtitles outloud. When I bitched, she said her friends couldn't read English.

It boggles the mind.
