Hand Swap advisement needed
I'm participating in my 1st hand swap review thanks to Happydaz graciously allowing <100 post people to play along. What type of session should I have reviewed? There's times where I play brilliantly and other times it's simply embarrassing. I'm thinking of just sending a 'typical' session. Sorry if this has already been discussed.

Send the embarrassing one. If you know you play brilliant, what's the point of criticism? =)

Re: Hand Swap advisement needed
This is also my first time doing the hand review and I think a typical session is best way to go. If you use an "extreme" session (one where you played very well or very poorly) I think it would reduce the value you get from the review process.

Just pick one at random. Results mean almost nothing in a 100-200 hand stretch.

Re: Hand Swap advisement needed
I usually will flag it in PT if I feel unsure of some hands, but then not really review it until after I send it out (just in case my ego won't let me send out a horrid session). So, usually mine end up having more mistakes than I think I typically have.
I've been thinking about sending out a session where I think I play really well, to see if I'm as good as I think I am, or if it's more that the cards were hot. |
