Its impossible. If the car is stolen and you bail on foot is basically the only chance.

Whar it takes is a planned escape route.

If you're on Mulholland Dr. in S. California with johnny law hot on your tail,

You get a couple of turns ahead of him and turn up Skyline Dr.,
then right into a section with lots of forks in the road and trees over the the roadway.

Through a couple of alleys and a dirt road and you end
up on Sunset Plaza which dumps onto Sunset Bl. in Hollywood.

Go sit in a coffee shop and watch the helicopter on the hill looking for you. Yeah, quite a rush.

Or so I've heard.

Ive thought the same thing. Obv you could never do it in a city and it would be hard on an interstate since they can radio ahead and put out APBs and such. Im sure a dirt bike or street bike on a country road could do it. You could prob do in a car, but would have to ditch it eventually.

uhhhh thats exactly the complete opposite, the city is the best place to run the cops as there are plenty of intersections and buildings and red lights to outrun them.
You need to take chances and run lights and make quick turns to out run them and with a series of sucessfull risky moves you will easily outrun them everytime.
recomended for kids 18 or younger as anybody 18plus should be mature enough not to risk there lives outrunning the cops.

Coming from someone with lots of experience.

My little brother pulled this off once. Him and the cop are going in opposite directions on a residential street and he flipped on his lights a few seconds after passing him. My brother sped up, whipped around the corner and hid in a grocery store parking lot.

Of course, he blew it because 10 minutes later he pulled out and the cop spotted him after giving up the search. But he did manage to avoid the evading charge by using the old "I didn't see you" defense. So I guess the key is to act fast but if they get on your bumper give it up.

in kentucky, when i was 18, 7ish years ago, the rule was 26 over goto jail. I was coming home from work one night, doing like 95 because i was stopid and had a new truck. and i aw myself fly passed a cop, who slammed on his breaks while turning on his siren and started coming. I knew i was going to jail if i got caught so i kept going. Till i found a backroad, pulled right up to someones garage, and waithed 20 or so minutes

NO jail time

Situations where it is a good idea to try and run from the police:

Your pursuer
-keeps his bullet in his shirt pocket.
-is named Enos

You
-are haulin' shine crost state lines
-think that there is some chance you'll be on Cops

my papal(grandpal) was a tripper(sold shine) for years. He had great stories about it.
Told me he had i 35or 45 olds, that was rodded out...lol
he never got caught, quit before the 60s tho.
When he died we found some old bottles with just moonshine written on the label....over 70 and still knew where to get it

Would you just get wreckless driving and evading? I'f your not doing anything but speeding down a rural road like I was then the punishment isnt that bad is it?

[/ QUOTE ]

If its obvious that you're running from the police, they'll throw every offense they can think of at you. There are a [censored]-load of generic charges that can be thrown at you.

Its one thing to try and evade the police by pulling into a parking lot/driveway. Its another to try to outrun them on a road. Guess which one puts lives at risk?
