$16: 33 on the Button - Insta-cram?

My image is pretty tight as I haven't shown down many hands and the ones I have have all been strong.

<font color="blue"> READS: </font> SB is a loose player (42/12/3.5) but I haven't seen him get out of line with big preflop all-in calls. The BB has played pretty straightforward and is of average looseness.

Based on the read I would shove vs 16 regs. They aren't 5.50 regs. It's probably not as "insta" as I thought but it's still a shove. Image does matter, what world are you living in?

idk from my experience at 6.50s/16s unless you're playing against regs image&lt;&lt;&lt;&lt;&lt;cards villain holds. i dunno if i like pushing 33 but maybe it's a leak i need to fix..

6.5 is much, much diff from a 16. People will notice your image.

Forget about image. Even If both players thought you were pushing 50% here and called accordingly this would still be a +EV push.

SB could call 14.5%, BB 5% and you could still push this.

I would push this at a $6.5, I would push this at a $16, I would push this in a boat, I would push this with a goat...

I assigned a calling range of 44+,A8s+,KJs+,A8o+,KQo to both of them and SNGPT shows it to have a -$0.74 expectation.

It suggest a push range of something like:
66+,ATo+,A9s+,KQs.

If I tighten their ranges to 88+,AJs+,KQs,ATo+, then shoving 33 shows a +$1.07 profit.

So, it turns out if they're &gt; 3-to-2 to have the looser range, shoving becomes -EV.

I thought it was close at the time, I just started playing these $16s, so maybe I misjudged how loose they would call, but I definetly have seen some very loose calls already.

Why would BB and SB call with the same range? (especially given your reads)

If BB calls you with A8o vs the range you gave then he just lost over $15 in EV.
