Re: BvB AJ 3-bet pot IP
[ QUOTE ]
I don't think the flop check is horrible, but why on earth would you not bet the turn? [/ QUOTE ] Because he has nothing and it's the only way I thought I might get value. Of course I understand I'll get value from a king here, but do you think I can really get two streets? Can't really put him on a weaker ace either. Just don't see most TAGs defending without a tight range here, but I could be wrong. |

Re: BvB AJ 3-bet pot IP
But honestly what do you put him on when he shoves the river? A big hand he's risking missing value with after I checked two streets? Just wondering what kind of range you think he'll pull this with.

Re: BvB AJ 3-bet pot IP
You donīt need fancy lines on 400 NL, bet flop.

Re: BvB AJ 3-bet pot IP
you obviously think he is bluffing. He would CR less in that case (ya, maybe this is a concealed brag post -- whatever that doesn't change anything). Looks like two whiffed checkraises or a rivered straight.
Bet the flop most of the time just to protect your hand, get information, and get value from worse hands (and there are plenty) -- but, check behind sometimes to give yourself more postflop flexibility. |

Re: BvB AJ 3-bet pot IP
Don't like the rivercall. Check flop, bet the turn and check river imo.

Re: BvB AJ 3-bet pot IP
Save slowplaying for bigger hands than one pair. I'd bet the flop and just take it down.
