raise less pf, 2.5-3x bbs is plenty. you are trying to take the blinds down cheaply not build a pot. with 2 callers, check the flop. c/f after that.

I would check/fold the flop. You ended up with a big multiway pot and got a pretty bad flop for 99. You probably don't want to commit any more chips unless you're sure damn sure you can take the pot down, because betting the flop probably isn't for value here.

The problem with betting about 2/3 of the pot on the flop is when your opponents call, you have no idea where you are. You could be best, or you could be against T with no draw, a high heart+overs, a made flush, etc.
