Asking questions to opponents in the hand?
When in a hand and you want to make your opponent do what you want or find out where you are... for example:
You hold the nuts and want to talk your opponent into a call or You have a marginal hand and want to know how strong your opponent is 1. what would you ask/say to your opponent? 2. what body/voice language would you look for in repsonse to you saying these things? |

Re: Asking questions to opponents in the hand?
people ask all kinds of questions. my favorite one to ask is will you show. Im not really listening for the yes or the know more often im looking to hear if they are comfortable or not when they say.

Re: Asking questions to opponents in the hand?
Does anybody think when someone says they will show it is typically a bluff? And BTW it doesnt matter the question. I'm just looking to see if they're comfortable or nervous.
If they are bluffing they will tend to stubmle or ramble an answer |

Re: Asking questions to opponents in the hand?
What if you ask them a question and they are completely still.. is this taken as a bluff because they dont wanna give any signals away?
I want to be able to extract as much info about their hand as possible.. is them just being uncomfortable enough to make a read on a player? |

Re: Asking questions to opponents in the hand?
I think if you're playing w/them for a while it is. Look for things like movement, fake smiles, uncofortable laughs, these things are hard to fake and can tell when someone is trying to seem confident
