10k comes out of prize pool first, then they calc the pool, then they add the seat back to 1st. 1st place becomes very top heavy basically which is great [/ QUOTE ] exactally I won a sunday 7pm. with a $540 BI. First paid a 10K seat and 14K cash second got like 7600 I think. |

won twice, finished 4th once. Field's really soft and easy. just use your basic MTT strategy and you'll be fine.

If you are paying that much, why not pay 10 bucks more for the Venitian 8pm tourney. You get 2500 in chippies, and the blinds raise every 40 min. For 50 bucks more, you get 2k more in chips, making your total 4500 in starting chips. [/ QUOTE ] I agree - the Venetian has a good structure and they also have a very nice card room with good management. Sahara has three tourneys a day. For a total of $62 you get 5000 chips. The blinds start at 25/25 and go up every 20 minutes, which is quicker than Venetian. The room is old and not very nice but the dealers are competent and the structure is better than any other for that price range. |

[/ QUOTE ] If you are talking about the tourney at the 'V' then it's actually $180 ($130 plus $50 for the add on/rebuy). However, the blinds only raise once every 40 min, and for that amount, you get a total of 4500 in chips. |
