I think a turn check is ok. I doubt you're getting 3 streets of value from a worse hand, and checking might make him curious to call a VB on the river with a weaker holding.
River is obv a call though. |

I thought I had to call since I checked the turn and a few draws missed and it was unlikely he would check a better hand on the turn and river. I called, he had 97dd. I just thought that this was an interesting hand that had a few interesting situations.

yeah good hand. Looking at the hand away from the table i was surprized to see you took the same like i reasoned out. When i bet the turn there occasionally i think its because i can just imagine the 2+2 gang telling me to do it, esp the most agressive ones obviously. But i take your line at least 60% of the time, but i wish i always did. it fits better with my strategy.
