After reading all the h8 I listened to the interview and wondered if I was listening to the wrong thing.

Summary:
- Go after big stacks that play scared.

- Call raises pre in LP with hands that have large implied odds rather than AJ.

- Disguise your hand and let people bluff. Try to get information from your opponent.

- Even when he said he didn't know what "getting 3-to-1 means" he went on to say he is aware of stack-sizes and how his stack will be impacted by a call/raise etc.

This is all advice I see posted here regularly.

Also any white guy that wears a grill is $$.

Certain Facts are Indisputabe:

1. It's possible that LH's sucess is due to variance.
2. It's impossible that he is actually very terrible.
3. His results have nothing to do with how good he is, it's still relatively short term.
4. Most of the people that hate him are bigoted morans, (ie AE) or jealous bustos.
5. He looks like a total joke.
6. He is completely sincere.
7. The word "wigger" is a million times more racist that the word "ni--ga" used in a friendly way, even by whiteys.
8. Knowing how to play well doesn't mean you do (cf: My career)
9. Those who have played or analyzed many many hands of his are the only ones who can tell us if he is good.

Look, I like lilH's style (for comedy) and I don't think you HAVE to be math genius to be good at poker...but do you really think that someone who doesn't know what basic pot odds are has any shot of being legitamate? Perhaps he was just nervous, I don't know. But isn't the whole point of what we do here based on the idea that the skills of poker can be learned? The jury is still out on players like Chad.

In my opinion, LilH's sucess in the long term will depend on him starting to learn how to plug leaks and develop a mathematical understanding of the game, at least a rudimentary one, AND not jumping into higher levels of play before he knows what he's doing.

10. I wish him the best of luck.

IIRC in the interview he says he does not know what 2:1 is but he knows percentages. When I started playing I never knew the 2:1 4:1 whatever but I did know card %, pot %, and how to figure out how much more I needed to break even even if I did not understand how to put those percentages into 3.5:1 format. He probably does the same. Whatever works for you.

lol at this one.
do you realize he's a huge winner over thousands of mtts over a few years online? if his results have nothing to do with how good he is then no one's do.

Wow Shawn (the interviewer) is a good friend of mine from my hometown - will definitely have to make fun of him for this interview, though he seems to be laughing at Chad the whole time and stifling the urge to say "SPEAK ENGLISH DAMMIT".
