Re: 200 NL, third nuts facing river C/R, puke.

I fold. Too easy for him to have the K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I think. |

Re: 200 NL, third nuts facing river C/R, puke.
Id think a check raise bluff is pretty complex even for a player like this. If he lead for that much...now you can think..but this has to be the winner...right?

Re: 200 NL, third nuts facing river C/R, puke.
I think this is a bluff.
If villain had K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] he can't trust that Hero is going to value bet river after the turn action. He's best move for value would be leading the river IMO. He can't lead the river with a bluff though because the pot is still quite small and he's going to get called too often. Check-raising is IMO the only option to bluff. It's risky of course because villain can't know for sure if hero has K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] but if he has been splashing around before I'm sure he's capable of shoving the river with air. |

Re: 200 NL, third nuts facing river C/R, puke.
Doesn't combo of turn donk min raise and river check raise = nuts when coming from an 80/25 maniac? At the tiny stakes I play min bet is 50% monster 50% air but when followed up with a CR on a later street......run for zeeee hills!

Re: 200 NL, third nuts facing river C/R, puke.
Out of interest, how much would you call as a CR here.
I have tried villains move twice at 200NL - both times i failed. Both times also i did not CrAI but repopped around $135-150'ish. Assuming you do not have a [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], In your opinion is CrAI aspect intregal to the move? I liked being able to fold to a push, but wonder if i blunted the move considerably? |
