Default second level of 80 person tourney can u EVER FOLD THIS HAND

This is my first post so sorry if is posted incorrectly.

This is an $60 freezeout with 80 players. Starting chip stack is 6000 chips and blinds start out at 25-50 with 20 min. intervals. I have been playing tag for the 1st 30 mins. stealing 2 unopened pots so far. I havent showed down a hand yet and my stack is about 6800. So the hand in question is it is folded around to the button who raises 3x bb i am in the bb and find pocket tens. 25% of me wants to reraise pf but i also dont want to get blown off the hand so i smooth call. flop is Kc 10c 3s I check he bets 200 and i check raise to 700. He instantly and i mean instantly says All in and i snap call. I will post the hand results after i get a few responses on the play of the hand and what other lines i could have taken. If i feel like I am the best player at my table by far is it ever correct to fold this hand?? I appreciate the feedback

I'm sorry you ran into KK. This is a cooler, and it would be very incorrect to fold here under any circumstance. Easy call.

You direly need to read HoH1 and 2 before you move forward in MTTs.

wow amazing that the 1st poster knew exactly what villian had NICE WORK. I appreciate it guys and I do own HoH1 &2 like them very much. I def dont want to post this cooler hand cuz i hate bad beat stories etc. But just wondering if anyone thinks its possible to get rid of middle set. the very next hand in sb i get the same dreaded 10 10 against bb move in for 600 and get called by q 2 and first card in the window is a queen. Hooray for myself setting a new record for myself in shortest ever live tourney appearance

It was very obvious from the tone of your post (and the title) that you lost this hand. Only one hand is beating you on the flop (KK). It wasn't a hard guess.

Did you read them? Harrington makes it very clear that folding a set on the flop is just a real bad idea.

So don't post it.

Nope. Not even Dan Harrington.

Bad luck. Good luck in the next tourney.
