Re: How hard is it for anyone to move up to 200/400+ NL now?
Wanted to ask the same question. The gap gets bigger and bigger. Anyway I believe that there are some 2/4 NL players that have bigger rolls then most of the guys taking shots at 200/400 NL.

Re: How hard is it for anyone to move up to 200/400+ NL now?
I havent seen a lack of 25/50 NL action between Party, Stars, Prima, and Full Tilt. 50/100 might have less games going though. I still think you can always find a good 25/50 game (relative for that stake).

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] with online poker losing players constantly i think we will see the high stakes games (bigger than NL1k) die out completely and the toughest sharks moving down in limits to be able to get action. this will happen when the bad regulars who were winners a year ago realise that theyre now the worst players on the table. of course there will be the odd cases of tournament donks blowing some of their winnings and rich business men donating, but it wont be the same. [/ QUOTE ] Can you also give the date when the world ends, please? [/ QUOTE ] Yes please, I am VERY curious from what facts you take the following conclussion 'cause I can't see the high limits dying out, I can only see limits become higher and higher and and players that keep looking for higher boundaries... I mean poker isn't even on his way down yet, with some luck we are going to get the Asian pokerboom in a year or two at most, a bigger pokercommunity means more and bigger games, more regulars and more fish. I mean I know I am pretty much being optimistic here but I am also trying to have a serious look at the facts, so please, explain [/ QUOTE ] I kind of thought the same way until recently, when IStrong pointed out to me that the opening of the Asian markets to Poker could be one of the worst things for us. Now you have a group of extremely smart/well educated people with a sick work ethic who make like $2 a day on average. You don't think that they are going to jump on the bandwagon as quick as possible. What Poker needs is a cash influx like we used to get, with donks seeing the PP adds and buying in for $200 and playing over there roll. Not going to happen with the Chinese, since for the most part they won't have a roll to start with. |

Big games run more at the end of the calendar year simply because people have more money at that time.....once April 16th comes you can't gamb000l as much...
