I feel for you bro. Almost exactly the same thing happened to me at Party Poker about 3 months ago. I was playing there, and my computer froze . I did a reboot and tried to log on to Party, and the message pops up "your password is incorrect" (or something to that effect). After trying again a few times, I called up Party support. They tell me my email address that I have registered at Party is incorrect. Sonofabitch !!!...I had $4800 at Party when all this happened. Then the support guy asks me " did you do a P2P transfer today?" Whatthefuck !....Apparently, someone had hacked into my account, changed the email address and password, and transferred a total of $3000 to two different accounts. I am on a secure wifi connection , by the way. Anyway, because I had gotten in touch with Party right away, they were able to freeze these two accounts (they temporarily froze my account as well). They asked me to send them copies of my drivers licence and a utility bill, and after almost 2 and half weeks, my account was finally unfrozen and the money returned.
Cooler, I would suggest not keeping an overly large amount of money in any of your poker accounts. Also, use different passwords for each poker site. I even suggested to AP support after this happened to suspend my P2P transfer feature, but they said that it cant be done.
If anyone really wants to, they can hack into your computer, secure connection or not. Putting a password security in your wifi connection, only makes it marginally difficult for the hacker.

My account was also hacked. Person took about a total of 300$ from me. Got the AP security number from this thread since they never responded to my support emails.

They didnt transfer money to an account. I think they joined a table and basically 1v1 it to themselves, cause my account showed no transfer history but my balance was owned.

DaCooler, they told me in 1 week investigations should be over but takes up to 2 weeks. They also told me I can call back anytime I want to check on the status.

When I was on the phone with AP security they asked me the location I live, and if I've ever played from another location.

I live in Hawaii so obviously me traveling across the country in less then 5 hours is a no. They already told me where the IP that connected to my account was located and that my account was hijacked, they told me this over the phone but they still have to close the account and do an investigation to see where the money went before they can refund you.
