Neighbor Gets Robbed

So the girl who lives upstairs from me had her car broken into last night. The back passenger window was smashed in and the thieves proceeded to take her stereo, radar detector, and every last one of her rap CDs and mixtapes. All country albums were left completely untouched.

She calls NOpd (emphasis on the NO) and they start filing a report. NO csi then shows up and asks her if they can look for fingerprints. She says OK. The csi then proceeds to bust out a roll of scotch tape and starts peeling it off of things to try and get prints. My neighbor then asks if they want her prints to rule out any match they might get with her and the cop goes, "Nah sweetie, we probably already got these black boys on file."

I feel so safe.

least new orleans takes fking fingerprints, i had a girlfriend get her car stolen in vegas and we went to the scene, she literally had to go um guys you wanna take fingerprints of the 40 ounce bottles they left in the car? they had to radio their sargent for permission like this was the first time they ever thought of this.

Yeah, Portland Police do not fingerprint unless your stolen/broken into car is/was involved in a bigger crime/s. I have had 2 cars stolen so I speak from experience.

CSI shows up for a car break-in in New Orleans? You should be so lucky in DC/Baltimore they only show up for the frequent murders [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Well I think the reason they can fingerprint here is because they're using god damn scotch tape. Not exactly a budget buster. Is that even admissible in court?

The next step I believe is to take that back to the lab and put it in the lizards cage with an opened thing of super glue.

I couldn't stop laughing at the fact that they took all the rap CDs. If I ever go into a life of crime here I'm def doing that.
