Yeah, seems like a clear turn bet. If he calls and that river card comes, I would check-fold.

But IF you check the turn I think you kind of have to call the river. Especially with no reads/stats.

I like the turn check, but only if we are doing it for pot control with the intention of calling any reasonable river bet. I don't think you should be folding the river for only a 1/2 pot bet.

Is it a good idea to bet more on the flop?

I dont want the button to call and give the SB the proper pot odds to draw, do I?

I dont mind your check here occasionally, better if he will aggressively bet draws. I might c/c intending to c/c a river blank,
