Greektown Casino, Detroit, MI - 2-5 blind round-by-round?

My friend said he saw a game Friday night at Greektown Casino in Detroit that was 2-5 blind, $100-$300 buy in, round-by-round pot limit hold em and omaha - but he wasn't 100% sure of the blinds or game... can anyone confirm this type of game? The only rotation game Iknow of is the 20-40 limit, which doesn't go very often.

I haven't been to the Greek in a month but I am guessing that it was the 5/10 PLH&O $300 minimum

I know they have a round by game running on Fridays. I don't have any idea how often it goes, but I'm pretty sure it's $5-10NL/PL w/ a $300 min. buyin.

i have heard no such game.. i was there today playin in the tourney and they actually got a 3 6 limit game with a kill going... i know they changed a buncha stuff because they were getting ran over by motor city... they raked almost all of there NL games now as well... im not sure about this game... ill ask tommorw when im there!

The game usually goes on Fridays and plays like the biggest game in the city. There is usually a pot sized straddle or blind bet preflop every hand. You better have a disregard for money to play in this game. The times I have sat down I have taken $2500 and was outchipped between 2 and 4 to 1 by everyone at the table. Other than a couple of people the Omaha play is extremely weak. The hold em plays strong and aggressive but ram and jam strong omaha hands as there is some poor hand valuation at that table. Typical of strong hold em players playing a mixed game.

This is not meant offensively but if you are talking about playing the daily tourney and 3/6 with a kill...This game is probably going to play too high for you, it really plays like a 10/25 PL game.

I appreciate the responses everyone. Not trying to defend myself, but 20-40 limit used to be a regular game for me at Foxwoods, and I play 40-80 when I go to Vegas. I have played the 20-40 round by round at Greektwon on Wednesdays a few times, but in general I cannot play at the casinos until the weekend. When I heard there might be a lower limit pot-limit round by round I couldn't help think of the fun that game could be.

I'll take a pot limit game with a bunch of noobs anyday over a no limit game. Anyway, I plan on heading down Friday to see what's going on, and if nothing good I'll head to MotorCity.

No need to defend at all, just wanted to rep it for what it is. I can probably give you a decent breakdown of the people's games that you will be sitting with if you want.

I have not played there in a while. Is it still the same cast of people. I remember always playing with bruce with the golf hat. Couple chaldean guys sam and matt. The asain guy tam. Give a rundown if you dont mind.

Is the Bruce you're talking about a large man, who says, spelled phonetically: "rise, I said" instead of "raise, I said?" also, rolling his R's in an unusual way? I'm not even going to get into how weird it is to say this even pronounced properly. And yes, the guy I'm talking about speaks English as a first language.
