sound stops working in full tilt?

i have the same thing, restarting FT isn't enough for me, I have to restart the computer cause the sound is locked up. very annoying in the middle of a work day.

logging out and back into windows seems to be fastest fix for me, which means restarting all my programs etc. hope someone finds a fix [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

all you have to do is play another sound on your computer (like an mp3 from itunes or winamp) what happens is the sounds get backed up i think (especially when multitabling) you can tell because all the sounds play once really loud when you start up an mp3 or something after the ftp sounds go off. pretty annoying though.

yeah that works sometimes for me but sometimes it doesnt. what i do is i load up itunes and play my library in the background, but i turn the preamp on the EQ way down so i cant even hear the music. sound hasnt gone out on me since.

When it happens to me, closing FT and restarting it doesn't help IIRC, I have to reboot.

Playing another sound on the computer gets all other sounds working, but to get Full Tilt sounds back only a reboot works for me.

Once you get your sound back you have to close FTP and then go to task manager and end the FTP process. It doesn't close itself most of the time. FTP sound should be fine once you reopen it. Pain in the ass site.

Yeah, you're right this does work, but is still hardly worth it. Most of my sessions on Full Tilt are 2-3 hours. Sound is usually gone within the first half hour.
