On Pokertowatch.com there are new clips for the August 1st tab.

Watch the video titled "Action Dan Harrington Answers Viewer mail"

It's Dan, Vanessa, and Clownie Gowen and Clownie disagrees with EVERYTHING Vanessa says, and tries to make her look dumb.

It's funny.

Clownie clearly HATES Vanessa for being young and dating Chad Brown.

and for drawing out on her flopped two pair. Something like JT v A4 w/a board of AJT x 4. lol Forced Clownie, who was apparently "tweakin'" to ask the apparently busted Mike Matasow for monies. Mike said all he had was on the table. lol

I have no real knowledge of Vanessa...but in this clip she says she prefers to play in higher-limit games against better players because they are "more predictable".

Is she really talking about moving up "where players respect your raises"? Did she just articulate it wrong or is she not bright?

regarding the august 1st viewer mail vid on Pokertowatch.com

LOL @ Vanessa for preferring to play against more skilled opponents.... what a donk. She probably learned that studying game theory at Duke.

Her mug in that video...not good. I don't understand the 'wow factor' around this woman at all.

As a total sidenote, I never knew about this pokertowatch thing, and there are some really good episodes on here. I particularly enjoy when high stakes cash game players have no idea what "running it twice" actually means in terms of EV and fairness.

Are you referring to the hand with Chad Brown and Antonio? (As a further side note.) I did not understand why Antonio agreed to run it twice when he was a pretty solid favorite. Isn't the point to get all your opponent's chips in the pot when you have him 3 to 1?

You're right, this is much funnier when a high stakes player does it.

Yes that is what I'm referring to, and you seem to have the same misunderstanding as Antonio. Don't be so results-oriented, running it twice, three times, 500 times, none of that costs him a penny. I think I'd prefer to run everything a million times with all opponents at all times, but then I'm a huge nit.
