3/6 Online, anyone betting this river ?
BB is on tilt/bad player I dont know, but he has 3bet and capped with 22 and K5 suited. He is going to showdown on most with any pair, and some UI aces.
UTG has posted. UTG+1is an ATC player. I havent seen him bet or raise without a hand yet, but he plays ATC also, he seems to be on a heater. Preflop: Hero is in the SB with K K UTG checks, UTG+1 , 2 folds, Hero 3 bets, BB calls, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls. Flop (24.00) 7 4 7 Hero bets, BB calls, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls. When they all call here, I am thinkin I am done with the hand, however the turn makes me re-evluate. Turn (36.00) 7 Hero bets, BB calls, 1 fold, UTG+1 raises, Hero, BB calls. River (72.00) J Hero checks, BB checks, UTG+1 checks |

Re: 3/6 Online, anyone betting this river ?
why didnt you 3 bet the turn? you really think UTG+1 raised PF with a 7?
also your first statement (3 players call so i'm done w/ the hand) is incredibly MUBS. its a big pot, they're calling with anything. this is a great flop for K's...not a bad one. its even better than a flop like T72, b/c then people have more outs to draw out on you. |

Re: 3/6 Online, anyone betting this river ?
If UTG+1 is an ATC, he's at least as likely to have a 4 as a 7, or some pocket pair, or maybe even Ax. Another possiblity is a bluff.
I probably three bet the turn, call it down if raised, and bet the river. I know I'll take a bath sometimes (when he really does have the 7) but think this is +ev in the long run against a weak player. |

I didnt want to be doing the BB's raising if he was smooth calling with the 7, and then having to call one (I probably would have folded to 2) bets on the river. Weak thinking ? |

Another possiblity is a bluff. [/ QUOTE ] He had not been caught bluffing at all. All his hands that went to showdown, he had something, a bizarre something, but something nonetheless. |

You're the one sitting at the table. If your gut tells you that he's hit quads, then don't bet it.
From what you describe, the betting is not inconsistent with Quads. It's also not inconsistent with a lot of other hands that you're way ahead with. |

Three bet that turn. More money must be made on this hand. A seven will turn up only rarely and I'll take a loss on that 3 bet when it does to more often earn more bets by 3 betting.

With a tilty guy, I'm 3 betting the turn and betting or raising any non A river. every time. IF he has a 7, he's gonna get paid.
