I'm a huge Frank Miller fan and I was disappointed by the movie. I think the acting was mediocre at best. And Xerxes was way to primped to be scary or even borderline believable.

The visuals were top-notch though.

But yet you use Die Hard and Transformers of examples of excellent movies. While these two, as well as 300, were good, they were all good and entertaining on the same level of super ez to find holes. If you are berating 300 b/c of how easy it is to find problems with the movie while accalading die hard and transformers, then you are simply a giant retard
