Re: $60: QQ, guess flop
i guessed a K flop, i suck.
you need to be good about 25% on the rive and i guess you are good about 26%. that bet of 400 makes me think he has something. i could see him betting 200-300 with junk. i think call is a tiny bit better than fold on river. everything else looks real good. |

Re: $60: QQ, guess flop
I like c-betting the flop for 300ish and shutting down if called. Most people play pretty straightforwardly with an ace out there.
P.S. I guessed an AKx flop...I suck too |

Re: $60: QQ, guess flop
If you c-bet flop and he calls you still don't know where you are. You're out of position so keeping the pot smaller is a better idea imo. If you check call you are giving him a chance to bluff or bet a weaker hand.

[/ QUOTE ] I like this reasoning....if we had position cbet flop, check turn, value bet river if villain is quiet through it all? I think villan bets turn or river with the A so after 2 checks on turn/river valueing on river is good? |

Re: $60: QQ, guess flop
C/betting sucks, like sonneti said, we'd like to get some value from hands we're behind. I like how you played it but I could fold the river to some villains. I could also push pf if I'm unlikely to ever get re-raised pf.
