Default PS $8.80 MTT - A8KJds - how is my flop call?

Felt I was way behind on flop but obligated to call given the odds and gutshot plus top pair - was scared of AA trying to push out a flush draw (which I didn't have).....is the flop call ok in this spot?

folding that flop would be pretty terrible. if you think he has AA for sure you might fold to the preflop reraise.

if you put in 24k pre i think you have to call 16k on that flop...not surprised if you're behind though.

Fold PF to the RR, you basically have a trash hand once you get repopped there. And even Button trash rundowns from an aggro player is a significant favorite on that flop.
As played, fold flop and grit teeth and find a better situation with 8BB behind.

Stealing is more of a necessity in tournament PLO.

This is gonna be 43xxss to QQxx, probably a few A2xx/AQxx variations with redraws in there.

When a decent opponent repots PF in that spot, he's getting it AI on all of the flops.

And AKJ8ds does not do well v that range. Upper Broadway handicaps very much limit floating ability.

Dont call preflop reraise with this hand. you are low odds versus the most common reraise hand, namely aa and kk. This hand is not playable for more than 20% of your stack because you get many partial hit flops that do not hold up well, and plenty of missed flops that you need to fold.

On flop, thought he had AAxx, he did, then when I called it I thought "you idiot" but given the odds it was borderline anyway - of course knowing it was probably a bad call I sucked out when the T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] hit and gave me the straight -hmnnn maybe I should get my money in more when I'm way behind seems to work for everyone else against me!
