Holy hell what a [censored] spot. Since so many people saw the flop it is somewhat likely that the guy who called you had the spades. However, a typical 10NL villain could also play KQ/KJ/KT and even weaker kings like this! (they could also play 33 like this but there is only one combo of that and so many other combos of kings and spades). This is so close. No K is likely to fold to a shove, so shoving for value has merits. I guess it depends on how often he has spades, and wether he might fold some of the kings in his range to a shove (possible IMO). This is kinda close between shoving and shutting down IMO. A pro about shutting down is that if he slow plays his flush and checks behind, we get a free shot at 4 outs for boating up.

Yeah, my thoughts as well. Turn made me feel ill.

Anyone like a c-r/c-c?

That turn would probably piss me into a shove. This is a typical "flip a coin" situation where nothing seems really right or wrong. Wouldn't hate giving up either if you "feel" that he made the flush.

a very sick spot but bear in mind shutting down also gives another 9 outs to complete a 4 flush.

i think enough of his range is kx to push here profitably but i dont think we can really afford to sit back and let that 4th spade hit.(its stops us getting any more value from weaker kings and puts a few of his kx combos ahead of us.)

i dont think shutting down is awful but i think we get slightly more equity from the shove here.
