Re: AK in $75 18k gtd
why fold? because, from a villain that tight, what hands would a tight 16/12 player be raising from EP, takes the line he does, and then shoves the river?
possible raising hands from ep(given villains nitty stats): -77, AA, KK: yes, these hands could definitely take villains line. -88->QQ: flop line: possible, but i would C bet it. turn: again, i've seen some players do this (esp. w/ JJ or QQ and don't want to lay it down, hoping for showdown on the river). river: there's no way he's pushing this river if hero leads out. as played out till the river, the safe play is to just call here w/ these holdings. what hands would call villain's push? hands that beat him. -AJ(maybe),AQ,AK: IMO bets flop. a shove on the river by villain would only get called by hands that beat him and isn't pushing out any hands that he may beat. -KQhh(maybe): flop and turn line would make sense, but would a 16/12 player push a busted FD here? the A should scare him, and given no reads and those stats, i would say no. please explain why you guys would call a shove, and what hands villain could be doing this with if villain does shove after hero leads out. edit: what hands do we beat if villain shoves? |

Re: AK in $75 18k gtd
again this is hard to determine w/o hero's image, but i am basing this on villain's stats and his line so far.

Re: AK in $75 18k gtd
AA,77 should be betting the flop with the flush draw there.
