Default NLTRN $5.25 Terrible raise/call?

Guy seemed decent. What I mean by that is that he knew how to raise properly preflop and he wasn't overbetting a lot like my opponents like to do so much (and I like them doing it) but he was betting strong, usually pot-size or close to it. I wasn't hitting any hands and he started betting me out and calling down my c-bets. I was on a little bit of tilt and he could probably sense it a little bit with my fast actions and how I would raise and fold a lot to his aggression. Anyway I was kinda letting him beat me up hoping to get a lot of chipos if I actually did get something. Anyway, tell me how much you hate this hand:

I don't hate this hand, seems standard to me.

Against some people you'll 3-bet this hand but I like postflop.

If I thought I was getting outplayed I'd re-raise preflop, but the way you played it seems fine.

is the idea that a "decent" player will three-bet shove a hand that has showdown value like AJ? it's the driest flop in history and if you think your image is tilty (and he's calling you down light) it doesn't seem like we're ahead very often when we get three-bet to me.

edit: do we also think he's doing this with air a lot of the time?

rypac, you think this is standard - what's the thought process there?

I guess I portrayed this guy incorrectly. I was looking back over the match history and he really wasn't betting as strong as I thought I remembered (maybe I'm getting him mixed up with the guy I played today who raised preflop and bet the pot every single hand) and he was giving me some preflop and c-bet credit. He was betting more like 1-2-3/4 the pot. There were just a few too many failed c-bets on my part in addition to hands where I called his preflop raise and he either c-bet me out on the flop or where he bet me out on the turn after I floated him on the flop with 2nd or 3rd pair which resulted in the 2:1 chip deficit. So he's more "decent" than I remembered I guess, although his sharkscope stats say he's a small loser over 436 games.
