Default OT: Poker Coaches

I've heard one of the best ways to increase your winrate is to hire a poker coach, so i've been looking into it and it seems pretty expensive. I've contacted one coach who wants to charge $100/hr, I've looked around at others and they are similarly expensive. Obviosly it depends on how good the coach are prices like this normal for coach? Do people find it worth it? I would particularly like to hear from people who have had good and bad coaching experiences.

I haven't had a coach but I have looked into it a decent amount. I have not seen a player who was openly unhappy with the coaching they received.

Yes, these prices are normal.

While only the greediest try to charge what they make playing poker (as coaching is less stressful and has no variance), a coach isn't going to charge a small fraction of his earn rate either.

If this is out of your league, there are sites with instructional videos and such for a lot less.

I've mostly heard good things about coaching, but as always, Caveat Emptor.

Don't have the link but there was a thread a couple of months ago about a poor coach. I'm sure there's others. That being said I am considering finding a good caoch as well.
