A few hands from my last session -
HAND 1:
Villian is 72/11/0.6 over 66 hands I think I should have bet this turn given it was so draw heavy and folded to a raise. Should I have called the bet when i checked? Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 5 Players - Hero (SB): $49.50 BB: $50.45 UTG: $49.95 CO: $41.85 BTN: $65.30 Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 Players) UTG calls $0.50, 2 folds, Hero raises to $2.25, BB folds, UTG calls $1.75 Flop: ($5) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero bets $4.00, UTG calls $4.00 Turn: ($13) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, UTG bets $5.00, Hero folds Uncalled bet of $5.00 returned to UTG Pot Size: $13.00 ($0.65 Rake) HAND 2: Villian is 31/15/1.3 over 33 hands I checked behind on the flop as it was such a dry flop and I put the villian on overcards and wanted him to catch up/bluff - should I have bet the flop despite his check? (I dont think pocket 10's check that flop very often and will more often find air). I think my river value bet was too small given he called the turn re-raise??? Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 5 Players - SB: $49.50 BB: $50.70 UTG: $45.25 CO: $50.00 Hero (BTN): $100.10 CO posts $0.50 Preflop: Hero is dealt 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 Players) UTG folds, CO raises to $1.75, Hero calls $1.75, 2 folds Flop: ($4.25) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) CO checks, Hero checks Turn: ($4.25) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) CO bets $4.25, Hero raises to $12.00, CO calls $7.75 River: ($28.25) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) CO checks, Hero bets $9.00, CO calls $9.00 Pot Size: $46.25 ($2.30 Rake) CO had T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (a pair of Tens) and LOST (-$22.75) Hero had 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (three of a kind, Twos) and WON (+$21.20) HAND 3: Villian is 27/15/1.1 I checked the turn as I figured the only reasonable hand I beat was now two pair - A9. - I dont think this player calls a raise with A7 or below. Now that I have checked, should I have called his bet since my check may induce semi-bluffs from a straight or flush draw. Basically I think the only reasonable cards for villian to have that im beating is a flush draw (I forgot to mention the nine also hits the 67 OESD)- Given this was my check on the turn the right play or should I have bet and folded to a raise. I think betting gets me into more trouble on the river if I am called. Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) SB: $91.05 BB: $16.20 UTG: $49.25 Hero (CO): $160.75 BTN: $82.75 Preflop: Hero is dealt T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 Players) UTG folds, Hero raises to $1.75, BTN calls $1.75, 2 folds Flop: ($4.25) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero bets $3.00, BTN calls $3.00 Turn: ($10.25) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, BTN bets $6.00, Hero folds Uncalled bet of $6.00 returned to BTN Pot Size: $10.25 ($0.50 Rake) HAND 4: Villian is 67/13/1 I checked the flop as I had just been showing down good hands and thought a bet would scream 4 but now that I think of it I doubt the players are that observant. - I have no idea why I checked the turn Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) Hero (SB): $157.30 BB: $34.00 UTG: $88.50 MP: $91.35 CO: $51.30 BTN: $63.80 Preflop: Hero is dealt 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players) UTG folds, MP calls $0.50, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.25, BB checks Flop: ($1.50) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 Players) Hero checks, BB checks, MP bets $0.50, Hero calls $0.50, BB folds Turn: ($2.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, MP checks River: ($2.50) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero bets $2.00, MP raises to $8.50, Hero??? |

Re: A few hands from my last session -
hand 1: b/f turn or c/c at least 1 street, u folded for a $5 bet into a $13 pot, do u put him on exactly a K? hand 2: bet flop, bet or raise turn, sets up for push on river. At least bet a little more on the river, by calling ur turn raise he's shown he has a strong hand or doesn't believe you. hand 3: bet fop, bet turn, bet river...or at least c/r flop. you played this hand so weakly you don't know whether hes vbetting a worse hand and you're missing value because of it. Betting really dry flops like this in an unraised pot should be commonplace whether you hit it or not, because people tend to not fool around. You want to bet $1 on flop, or c/r, bet the turn and river because a lot of worse 4's will call you. You're scared of only one hand on the flop: 22. |
