Default rivered tptk on paired board, 3-bet pot.

I think I butchered this hand so feel free to say so.

Villain is a solid TAG. I think my image is TAG (unless he saw me on monkey tilt yesterday!).
Only other time he got allin against me he had tptk+nut fd. Is the river call just spewing?
Given that I think it is, what do you think of folding the turn?

I don't think i like the river call, opponent has no reason to turn a decent hand into a bluff here. So it's AQ/air/set.

this hand is very opponent-specific..your reads and history with this villain is key...it sounds like you won this hand though

I'd bet/fold flop.
Turn call is ok
River call is bad I think.
Your hand looks like what it is, so he can think that you hit the A.
He either has one pair easily beat or it is a busted draw, but since your hand looks like AK I don't see him trying to bluff river so I guess it is a boat or a straigt or a 9 most of the time.

Thanks for the feedback. Maybe bet/fold the flop is good. I think I expected him to c-raise overpairs and thats why I checked. Seems everyone agrees the river call is bad without a good read. He had 88 for the flopped boat. I'm a little surprised he called my 3-bet OOP since playing only for set value doesn't seem like a good idea(but then I did pay him off!) and its hard to imagine he is profiting OOP when he doesn't hit. I would usually fold 88 pf in his shoes and would 4-bet if the raiser was 3-betting very light. Any thoughts?

your AK here on river is equal to 82o in my opinion. think of it that way and decide whether you should call (not saying you shouldn't), but you only beat missed draw and under pair here
