200 NL, AJ 3-bet gets flat called by BB

I usually tend to bet 35$ in these spots.

Check. This hand is likely to hit his range, and unlikely to hit your "percieved range". Some villains will raise you with ATC for this reason on these boards.

Also food for thought. If you have been quiet at the table, you could cbet any flop here and just do your best to rep JJ+. The less active you have been the more success you should have with this line.

Huh?

How do we NOT fire at this flop? Villain HAS to put us on JJ+ here, given that OP is a quiet unknown thus far. If he doesn't fire here, what's the purpose of the 3bet? Granted we hope to take it down here pre, but if called, don't we absolutely have to fire? Otherwise, OP hands the pot away.

I really think c/f is a horribly weak line to take....

On hands like this, I think your table image is very important. If you had been cbetting a lot of hands, I would vote for a check here. Because you just sat down I like cbetting $35-40.
