Full Tilt disconnect time bank
Shockingly, I don't think this has been brought up yet. The time bank on FT for when a player disconnects has to be the stupidest thing ever. I think it was added a month or two ago. In that time I don't think I've seen one player disconnect and then reconnect in that period of time. Instead, everyone at the table ends up waiting for 60-90 seconds before the player times out anyway. Am I off base here? Has anyone been able to, or seen players reconnect in time? I'm in favor of getting rid of it.
I know there are about a million worse issues that FT needs to deal with right now, I just thought something needed to be said. * Edit/MH: Search for "time bank" within the last two months and join in the previous discussions. Thanks. |

Re: Full Tilt disconnect time bank
I tend to agree but think a bigger issue is the fact that there are some players have a script loaded on their computer to automatically request time every time the button appears. These guys basically have twice as much time as everybody else to make their decisions, creating an unfair advantage, and slowing the tables down as most of them are multitablers. I'd much prefer to limit the number of times the "time" button can be used per hour. Maybe 10, even 20 times would be reasonable. Such a limit would at least provide incentive for all players to keep up with their tables.

Re: Full Tilt disconnect time bank
It's really horrible when you're playing SNG's. Disconnects can take up half or more of the blind time, and gives an advantage to the early chip stack leader.

I wouldn't hold your breath... FT's slider still won't hit 4bb preflop (it goes 3bb, 5bb lol)-- they can't even get that right.
