Hell no! This happens to be a HUGE leak (or [censored] habit) for me. Here's how it happens: I sit down at a couple tables on a Fri or Sat nite, play for a couple hours, get up or maybe even double up, get bored, pour myself a whiskey 'n coke and proceed to blow it all away and perhaps even a few more buyins'. I've gone back and actually looked at my sessions and could not believe the stupid decisions I made AFTER I got my drink on.

I don't drink a lot, but when I do I'll usually play a game like triple draw that I'm unfamiliar with. Just one table. For some weird reason I enjoy trying to focus through alcoholic haze and I find I'm usually pretty successful.

I do this also.

Instead of playing drunk 100/200 lhe or whatever, and instead i spend 4 hours trying to get even at 0.5/1 stud hilo etc.... Much healthier for the bankroll, and more fun!

I think drinking and playing is terrible. It ruins your concentration and you go crazy and you wake up with no money.

Alcohol effects ppl in different ways. Sober I can play 4 sngs fine. When I'm buzzed (3-9 beers) I can play 2 tables very well. Smashed (10+ beers) I'm a spewtard. When I get smashed I move down to .01/.02 to .05/.10 NL or play a $2 heads up sng.

i tend to play more lag when drinking, although i don't do it that much. i also find, depending on who you're playing, it can be easier or more difficult to play a drunk.

one guy i use to play with, sucked sober, awesome drunk. i sat with him once, and railed the rest of his games. then again he also seemed to have lots of luck.
