Woah.

Why is everyone so eager to shove? You trying to make it easy for CO to fold AT?

[/ QUOTE ]

Villain folds any T/draw here on the third of never. If I call, it's to keep AK/99/A8 in.

[/ QUOTE ]

CO has to suck a LOT to call with AT here. Most TAGfish are not that bad.

And WTF he never has a draw on this board.

[/ QUOTE ]

CO would have to be pretty dense to call w/AT here.

We're talking about someone who open-limped in the cutoff. If he really does that with 88/TT he IS that bad. Even if he limped 44 there, you think that he's any good?

what does shoving accomplish? at this point co only calls w/ sets/T8. better to just call now and wait until the turn.

edit: unless he's really bad

I didn't say he's good. I said he's not a drooler.

No 19/14 calls with AT here. Your hand is completely face-up as CRUSHING a lone T to anyone that plays 19/14.

maybe I'm just running bad,
but this screams monster to me.

I feel like flat call, check through turn,
make a decision on river is the best way to go.

The flat call from the TAG always screams monster
of course you are ahead of the fish but you aren't beating the flat calling TAG.

results please

I think that a shove is probably the best option here. Calling is absolutely absurd and has very little merit. If he has only top pair, you'd absolutely want to shove (lest he hit the turn.
That being said, I think you're dominated. From the moment I read the post, his play screamed set. Who called that bet with top pair? He absolutely hit his set, which explains the preflop call rather than raise...set mining against the fish.
