[/ QUOTE ] No, buy high sell low [/ QUOTE ] Buy high, sell higher. Short low, cover lower. This works for longer term investing. Buying low and selling high turns into picking tops/bottoms (and averaging down) for most investors which is notoriously difficult to do. Buying value during an uptrend (buying short-term weakness in a long-term bullish market (and vica-versa)) is a better strategy if you want to buy low/sell high. As always, it depends upon your methods, time frame, and objectives. Then again, maybe hawk59 will flame regardless. |
