Final table chip leaders head to head - Call or Fold?
6 handed HE, down to final 6, $4K+ for first, $650 for 6th.
Top two chip stacks ~200K are involved in this hand (BB and CO), 3rd place is under 120K. UTG and UTG+1 fold, CO holding A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] calls (6K), button and SB (3K) fold, BB (6K) checks option. Pot 15K plus antes. Flop T, 7, 3 rainbow, BB checks, CO bets 6K, BB calls. Pot 27K+. Turn 3, BB checks, CO bets 15K, BB pushes all in. Both CO and BB have been playing TA. CO - What do you do here? |

first of all, he cant bet 5k when the BB is 6k
second, limping preflop is abysmal |

Re: Final table chip leaders head to head - Call or Fold?
Firstly Id raise this pre flop to 20k. 6 handed A7 is plenty enough to get busy with considering our stack. Secondly as played bet about 10k into this pot, 5k simply isnt enough and you'll get action from all sorts of drawing hands and even bottom pair. In fact stuff it, bet 15k, this will fold out a 3 and any gutshot draw and pretty much let you know where you are. Thirdly on the turn I check behind in the hope its checked to me again on the river as there really is not much im beating right now. For me this is a bread and butter fold but it shouldnt have been allowed to happen this way tbh. As for villains hand it could involve a ten, it could involve a 3 it could be an overpair. We just dont know because we didnt raise pre flop and didnt fire nearly enough in on the flop to gain any info. Basically as played fold the turn, we are surely behind.
