Default NL200: Interesting KK spot deep

I thought this was an interesting spot since all 3 of us are sort of deep. UTG+1 is somewhat donkish, running like 29/10 over a decent sample. He's not good but at the same time he's not retarded. MP3 is like 26/4 and also seems bad but not too terrible. My image is somewhat laggy as Im running about 18/15 but I have not been 3 betting that much.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

saw flop|<font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font>

MP2 ($82.90)
MP3 ($541.50)
CO ($201.80)
Button ($119)
Hero ($360.30)
BB ($304.35)
UTG ($237.60)
UTG+1 ($489.55)
MP1 ($218)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+1 raises to $6</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, MP3 calls $6, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $28</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG+1 calls $22, MP3 calls $22.

Flop: ($86) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $56</font>,

Flop bet is pretty standard here(maybe a little bigger looking back) but whats our plan if UTG raises? How about MP3?

How about if one of them just calls?

A huge part of their range has to be 99-QQ, right?

If UTG raises I am looking to win a big pot. MP3 is a lot more prone to have 88,55, etc here, but 99-QQ are in his range as well since he is so unaggressive.

Very hard hand to get away from, IMO

If we get 1 raiser and 1 folder, i'd probably flat call the raise. Then I would check the turn and if he bets the turn probably push.

It sucks cause I might get stacked with an overpair, but the pot was kinda big due to the 3bet with 2 callers. He could have an overpair less than ours, so he would fold to a flop push. If this is what he has, then letting him see the turn isn't that risky, and I think it will be much easier to get him to commit his chips this way unless a scare card comes.

If he has a set, then he would call our flop push no problem so we are really dead either way.

If he checks behind the turn, i'd VB the river if a blank comes.

Well first of all, I think you should have bet a little bigger on the flop, but that being said, I think this is a spot to ship it if they raise. Obviously you are afraid of a set if they raise (as you are all deep enough to have good implied odds to hit a set), but 99-QQ look pretty good on this board, as does two overcard spades. They could be raising you with any of these hands, so unless you think your opponents are capable of simply laying down an overpair here, you should try and double up if you can.

i'm folding if either of them raise here. i'm a lot more comfortable if they flat. a raise is almost never a bluff in a 3 way 3 bet pot...

Can you please explain why this is so simple in a 3way pot 180 BB deep? My inital reaction would be that this is the bets play, but the more I look at it the more I think that they could take actions that would require a fold.

This is a very tough spot and I think it would be ok to 3bet bigger (to like $36) or even just call preflop here to avoid this spot altogether. 3ways and OOP this becomes trciky. I get it in vs. UTG+1, but if he calls and MP raises or UTG+1 raises and MP shoves I'm probably in turbo muck mode. I'd rather see action to see what I'd do facing the exact spot that comes up.

Both of them being not terrible but not good makes them both very susceptible to making a move here with 99-QQ. They could have a set, but those hands and draws are part of the range, and with a raise here I think 99-QQ is a huge part of the range, thus why he said "go broke all day" which I completely agree with.

if raised vs UTG go broke def. vs mp3 its more tricky and u might have to fold if he takse obv set lines
if UTG calls, go broke with pretty much any turn.
if mp3 calls go broke blank turns with stack a donk or psb
if both call the turn has to be Very blank to continue, allthough mp3 most likely wont overcall a bet with better hand than KK, so u need safe turn continue.

thought it was 400nl when I wrote this. well it doesn't change things too much with UTG but if mp3 shows strenght u have to fold.
