I dont see what he could've possible been in that hand with that KK is beating. At least you earn some table respect making that call.

It's the stupid bet sizing that bothers me. If he had made a normal turn bet and then shoved the river, I wouldn't have as much problem calling because I've seen that line with a hand like TT trying to get KK/QQ to fold. But the minibet then larger bet always seems to be A-rag+.

For what it's worth, I check this flop with AK occasionally against non-thinking opponents because they will valuestack themselves with AQ or bluff off their stack with 88.

this is a tough spot.

if it was just a 3bet pot i would be more inclined to call, as it's a 4bet pot i think it's a clear fold and i wouldn't think twice about it.

edit: i don't think it's as clear a fold as i said before. anyone have any good thoughts on ace high boards with KK in a 4bet pot ? i think the queen helps his range a ton as well.
