Remember when people used to ask you why you would ever play at stars when party was around? Sometimes people do things that make no sense just because it fits their comfort level better.

I think the point he was making is that if you like playing postflop, Cash games are way more profitable. I play sitngos because Im basically [censored] at playing postflop, and when I play sitngos I dont have to.

God 100-buyins seems excessive. 50 should be plenty.

Basically I would reccommend having at least 50 buy ins at the level you are playing IF you are comfortable playing it. I played my BR up to like 575ish and took my shot at 11's I ran up like $150 in profit in around 30 games...sick rush and then went on a terrible spiral down to losing 5 buy ins at the level. I found and fixed quite a few leaks there but I don't feel comfortable playing there much anymore b/c I get results oriented. I still have great success at 5.50's and wonder if anyone has any advice on how to get my confidence back at the next level?

Even if your true ROI is 10%+ 50 buy in downswings aren't impossible. I was down 110 buyins at a certain level and I'm 99% certain my true ROI was at least 5%+.
