This article is so dumb. You are an idiot.

Here's a 'bet' for you steven. If I win, you have to simply post on twoplustwo's website saying 'i am sorry'. That's all. That's your side of the bet. If you win, I will buy you a new convertible and donate 50K to an anti-gambling group. That's my side.

I can find 5 players who a professional statisticians would say are proven beyond reasonable doubt to be long term winners in online-poker.

I bet you i can do it, and if you really think i can't, take my bet. All you'd have to do is apologize if you are wrong.

FWIW,

I'm giving you like infinity:1 odds. I can't believe how dumb you are. it astonishes me that you manage to lead a normal life, like getting up out of bed in the morning.

[/ QUOTE ]

I posted that on his comments section.

Chances that he takes the bet?

The Fallacy of Online Poker

Edit - OK I didn't know it was copyrighted. Sorry again. I will just post the link here, but I think you should hear this point of view.

[/ QUOTE ]

Hi Carol,

If this article is at all accurate then please explain how I personally started playing poker a few years ago with $15 that a poker site gave me for free, and now earn a regular income having won over $30 000 in the last 9 months all from that original small amount of money.

I am not alone, there are many people here who have started with the same small amount of money and, like me, never deposited another cent and have made far more than I have as a long-term winning poker player. If you bothered to do any research you would see graphs that people have posted of their results over many 100s of 1000s of hands showing how much they have won over the long run.

How do you explain this if everyone is destined to lose playing online poker?

[/ QUOTE ]Dear Mr. Deaders,

Variance, ldo.

Best regards,
Carol.

[/ QUOTE ]

lol did i get leveled

[/ QUOTE ]

at the chance of getting leveled,

the sample size is enough that there are players who have a .000000000484 chance of being losing players. You can't ignore statistics, moran.

I believe that competition will dictate rake free. One large corporation will do it and the rest will have to follow. So your agenda of attempting to get online poker legalized in the US, will actually destroy your affiliate programs because these corporations aren't exactly going to pay a commission on a rake free site. Your easy money gotten from fleecing addicted gamblers will be over - compliments of Barney Frank.

Stephen, I'm sure without the rake you'd be a winning player in online poker as you are obviously above average intelligence.

Can you please lobby for rake-free online poker with the U.S. Government?

Maybe it could be a government run site or something; that way the commission hustlers would not be getting their cut but you and I would still be able to play and win without paying the horrible horrible rake.

Thanks in advance!
