Villian is 31/15/2.6

and villian has a turn aggression of 11

Flop looks like a c-bet... turn ch/ch makes it even more look like a continuation bet and he doesn't have a pair/set so i should have the best hand here unless he has AK....his river aggression is 5

You should be beating his range if he 3 bets hands like JJ+, AQ+. Flop bet did look like c bet until he called your raise. Looked more like an overpair or A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] when he called. Turn check might be for pot control if he thought you were semibluffing with a flush draw on the flop. I might take a shot at betting $18 - $24 on the river given this range.

I would check to him and be inclined to call a river bet, I hate betting on the river here.

I think check-call is probably the best way to approach the river. I can't figure out if his check on the turn is because he's worried that you made some kind of straight/flush/set, or because he has a huge hand and hopes you catch up. AK/AQ of spades are the hands I fear most, and checking controls the size of his bet here so that you aren't throwing in a lot of money the times you are behind.

You must check call the river as played. I prefer a check-call on flop to check-raise.

Not to get off topic, but why raise a maniac on this flop?

I guess I'd check and call up to half the pot but fold to a push. If he was on a draw he probably got it by now. You still beat the pocketpairs he might play that way and some weaker ace but I don't like to loose a stack when he shows 87s.

Doesn't anyone think he should have c/f flop? You are OOP, you have A-high and you believe that your opponent is a maniac. Pick a better spot.

As played, not sure. i'm pretty lost here. i'm inclined to say c/c a small bet.

I'm check folding this flop... as played Im probably gonna check call a smaller sized bet on the river. If I get rammed on the river Im gonna just let it go and pick a better spot
