Default tough spot in position with KK

I'm shortstacked, opponent seems reasonable 0.50/1.00 NL 6-max.

Villian (88.00) raises UTG to 5.25, slightly larger than normal.
Hero (42.00) raises to 15.00 on button. Villian calls.

Villian checks

TT/JJ, KQ, etc.

if you just check you're basically giving up all control of hand. at least this way you get some bluff equity.

How much do you bet on this flop? Push?

I don't see him calling here to a push with KQ, or JJ. That leaves hands that beat me.

Deepstacked, pot size control matters even more. What hands call 3/4 pot bet here that you're beating? Is giving a free card here so bad?

Reload pf.

I don't get people saying to c-bet, that doesn't make sense to me. The only hands we have fold equity against are those that we have beat and will fold if we bet but might bluff if we check. I'm all for checking a seeing a turn card.

Bluff equity vs. an ace? Lol.

blahhhh, don't play with a 40bb stack-- this is why.

you pretty much have to get it in no matter what. even though this is a horrible board. I'd check behind and hope that he shoves a worse hand on the turn.

if he checks turn then shove because he might call with a Q .
