Battle of the Beards

maybe this should be its own thread but why did breads ever die? the goatee thing was huge in the late nineties early 2000's(ugh) and i was really hoping it would trend into a bread comeback.

beards are so [censored] manly and awesome. i blame the metrosexual/feminization of the man movement. what guy (who can actually grow a beard) looks worse bearded than clean shaven?

everyone of the guys pictured has a pretty badass beard imo.


This cat isn't a celebrity in the same vein as the guys posted, but i really like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's beard. His personality really reminds me of a smarter arab version of President Bush in the sense that if you [censored] with him, he's just going to want to start a [censored] holy war over it. i think his entire look really compliments that persona.

fwiw, i am not bearded. i was in a long term relationship and my girlfriend mandated it (yes, i am ashamed). now the relationship is over, but sadly i am not gifted with the ability to grow beards particularly quickly. i am just about to start my very first 'real' job so i don't want to show up scruffy for the first few weeks because i am afraid its going to send the wrong message to my likely metrosexualized coworkers with waxed chests.
