[/ QUOTE ]even considering villain this seems like a check behind on the turn. The flop is very dry and he just calls so he could have an underpair or a pair of tens. On the turn you're just folding out any worse hand unless he has a reason to call you down.

I often check behind turn also but felt my table image sucked so they might call me down lighter.
