Re: TruePoker... Hands per hour

The fishier the game, the slower the hands. [/ QUOTE ] Damn! I thought this was my little secret. I always liked TP, but for a limit player, it just isn't worthwhile (at least not last time I was there). |

Re: TruePoker... Hands per hour
I would be worried, I heard that TruePoker CEO was either busto or arrested. I believe it was posted somewhere.

Re: TruePoker...We are going to improve the S&G presentation
I haven't done that because I frequently fail to check it.
I DO read emails everyday at management@truepoker.com. |

Re: TruePoker... Hands per hour
LOL, nope. Not arrested.....
As for busto, nope ... (We have been in business continually for over 6 years. We always have cash over and above our aggregate player liability. We are very conservative in that regard and others.) Personally busto ??? I generally play only in Costa Rica, where the games are pretty low key and low stakes. We will be running a Costa Rica Poker Beach promotion next month by the way, you are welcome to come down and take a shot here. As for the Deposit Bonus poster above, I have no idea who he is spamming for, but he does not even list the 100% FTD we do offer. |

Re: TruePoker...We are going to improve the S&G presentation
Two things I want to stress about True, one of which I failed to mention in my post above. First, everyone raves about Stars support - I can safely say that True support matches this and is top notch. The on duty Host feature can answer most of your questions and address most problems immediately. And if not, then e-mail support is quick and usually very much on point.
Second, the player base at the True network is much more cordial and courteous than you generally find at a poker site. I think True probably attracts an older crowd and the courtesy level may be a function of that, or it could be the high percentage of Canadian players. It might even be the fact that TP seems to have a very high number of female players ( or males choosing a female avatar and pretending to be females in this little virtual world). In any event you are very seldom berated or abused by other players at True. So with the caveats I issued above let me simply leave it that True poke is a nice little site. Being something other than a cookie cutter clone of Stars or Party is a good thing. Give it a try, you might like it. |

Re: TruePoker...We are going to improve the S&G presentation
I'd love to go back there if for no other reason than a break from Stars. But I play limit ring games and SnGs. If there were traffic at either of those, I'd go back.

Re: TruePoker...We are going to improve the S&G presentation
i've been in contact with TP now for around a fortnight to open an account.
for some reason, my emails (from michael AT michaeljosem.com) seem to not get answered - athough i emailed the CEO about this last thursday (now Monday) and I understand that there's action on the horizon. in the mean time, i'm having fun with stars. |

We are going to improve our S&G presentation, i.e give more chips/value for all stakes. [/ QUOTE ] Any chance that you're going to increase the starting chips in your MTTs, specifically in your Sunday tourney? |
