Default IBM Lenovo T61P

Looking for a laptop that I can use for school, as well as poker. I am a secondary education major, if that matters at all. As for poker, I just need the 1900/1200 screen, and it to not be laggy when running the pokersites, pokertracker, pahud, aim, firefox, itunes, etc. Also, security is a big issue. Being at a public university, and having access to a good amount of money via my computer, I am sure you can see why. Thats why I am leaning towards this computer.

Does anyone have experience with these? Please let me know what you think, and if there are better options available. Thanks

Also, will I be able to hook up a Samsung 204b to this laptop, and get full 1600x1200 resolution? What about higher resolutions for monitors like the 24" samsung, and the 30" dell

if the screen is 1900/1200 you shoudnt have a problem with 1600/1200 external.

Ask lenovo about the other stuff. IBM has nothing to do with it anymore as far as I know.

Lenovo laptops are the way to go for security... I'm getting an almost identical laptop shipped to me in about a week... this is a pretty perfect setup for multitabling... no comment on the screen resolution though

Yeah that wont be a problem, you can use your laptop screen and a monitor as well. If you want to use 2 monitors and not the laptop screen I am not sure but you would probably need a docking station.
