Wasn't the greatest play wasn't the worst.. although the way he played it looked very amateurish.

Its a great bluff. Anyone who says anything bad about Chris' play is obviously thinking in terms of watching the TV and watching the hole cards and watching the action. With that knowledge we can see his play was extremely iffy. But at the table, live, its something completely different.

This move let him win the tournament, be damned anyone who says otherwise. WP Chris.

farha even said that he was almost positive he was good but figured he could out play him and it was not worth it. horrible bluff imo.

[/ QUOTE ]

QFT. It was a pretty transparent move IMO.

who is moneymaker?

He's one of the biggest, if not the biggest, reasons that you are posting on this forum.

As Mike Matusow repeatedly says, God Bless Chris Moneymaker.

Makes no sense. If Farha is almost positive he's good on the river, he has to call. How does he plan on outplaying him in the future if he folds every time he's almost positive he's good.

Have you never played a donk HU? He moves All-In on you and you think: Well, either he has it or I have it. You can't really figure it out and decide that you'd better fold since your edge is higher than the odds that he doesn't have it.-

How big was the river bet? Was it a huge overbet?

Even when there's 1.8 million in the pot (about 20% of the total chips in play) when your opponent goes all-in? And folding leaves you way behind in chips? You still fold to a 'transparent' bluff? You are a heads up master
