That\'s a shame, I wanted to creep in there cheaply 30 E
The K door card is likely either retarded or rolled up. Cards are surprisingly live, but I really hate this type of hand when the pot gets big on early streets. Should I still try to slither in or should I just avoid the headache that can ensue here? A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] is a reasonable player so his limp here is somewhat perplexing and he could quite likely have started better 3 flush than me already.

My quick Bayesian analysis reveals that it is about 17 times more likely that the King is clueless than it is that he is rolled-up. You're probably looking at a weakish three-card low (or something worse) and split Kings. Your hand is pretty live, and it's relatively cheap. I call here and like it.

Don't pick at scabs unless you want a scar!
The playability of hands like this is just terrible if one of the other lows starts catching gooood and you catch a 'good' card like an offsuit Q or something. |

[/ QUOTE ] Yes, this is my biggest fear with these sort of hands. I always wonder if I'm missing something when I throw them away time after time, but so often when I get involved with them I find myself picking up just enough that I think I need to keep going and by 7th street I've put in god knows how many bets with a hand that I didn't even want to play in the first place. |

I definitely fold this as well. You are trying to catch two cards to win half the pot.
I don't see why the K has to be clueless, wouldn't you raise split K here after the A merely called? |

I dont think there is anything wrong with it, you have a good speculative hand that would like to see a card.

I wouldn't even really think about calling this. You're cold-calling two bets trying to draw to a hand that will often only win half even when you hit.
