It seems fine to me. Probably raise it up to 5 or so on the river.

Why check the turn? I would raise 3.5$ here and watch him call. Then I'ld check behind the river.
I can't see any value in reraising that river. Any hand that calls you, beats you.

i think you must bet the turn also

the check on the turn is the correct play because:
-you dont want to be playing for stacks with a 1 pair hand
-if you bet you fold out all hands you beat and only get action from those that beat you
-it represents weakness which broadens the range with which he will bet or call your bet with on the river putting you ahead of more of his range

the river raise i also think is fine although i think a call is ok too.
